Delayed Retirement Hits Job Market
Last night, the show 60 Minutes on CBS ran a segment on 401K investment funds. Millions of US citizens trusted these funds for their retirement planning. The story featured several people who lost a large amount of their retirement fund. Everyone who was interviewed stated that they have to work much longer than they ever expected. In fact several said they can never retire.
You may say to yourself, “big deal, this won’t affect me.” Think again. Add these millions of people staying in the work force longer and the millions of jobs being eliminated every year and this causes a huge problem for current and future college graduates – and anyone else looking for a job.
There is one clear fact, new jobs are getting even harder to find. There is no better time to explore the world of business ownership.
