Coming from the Windy City, I love Metro-Detroit’s “small town” feel. Six degrees of separation runs true here and I find as a newbie in Michigan it is a dream networking. I run into people I know all the time. People also seem to know the people I know everywhere. The innovative, hard working and big hearted spirit of Michiganders has always been evident to me and I am thrilled to be in the mix. I believe we are going to come out on top despite this economy. The new ideas and new businesses will be what move us forward. I say…watch out….a tsunami wave and the new face of business is rumbling! Ten years down the road I expect to see some real movers and shakers coming out of Southeast Michigan.
